Raine & Horne revs up its 140-year celebrations in Western Australia by opening a new office in the northern suburbs
- Raine & Horne commemorates 140 years of excellence and launches Raine & Horne Landsdale.
- Experienced sales agent and Landsdale local Shabina Yakub, leads the new Raine & Horne Landsdale office.
- Landsdale, a family-friendly suburb, offers potential for capital growth with a 6% increase in housing prices over the last 12 months.
Raine & Horne, after commemorating 140 years of excellence in 2023, is furthering its cork-popping celebrations by launching Raine & Horne Landsdale.
This new office will be led by experienced sales agent and Landsdale local, Shabina Yakub.
Mrs Yakub has taken charge of an existing real estate office and rent roll, previously associated with another network, and rebranded it as Raine & Horne Landsdale.
Philip Grove, WA Network Manager at Raine & Horne, expressed that the opening of Raine & Horne Landsdale follows closely on the heels of the brand's expansion into Western Australia's rural property sector with the recent introduction of Raine & Horne Rural WA.
“With a presence in the residential, commercial, and rural property markets, the Raine & Horne brand continues to grow. We also offer financial services under the name Our Broker and has expanded its operations globally,” Mr Grove said.
Mr Grove shared his excitement about having an office in Landsdale, a newer suburb of the City of Wanneroo.
“This development allows Raine & Horne to extend its sales and property management services to property owners in the northern suburbs of Perth.”
The Lansdale office team is ready to hit the ground running, and Mr Grove looks forward to collaborating with them to bring Raine & Horne's unique suite of real estate products and services to property owners in Landsdale and the wider Wanneroo region.
After spending five years as a sales agent, Mrs Yakub, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, is excited by the opportunity to become her own boss again.
Prior to her real estate career, Mrs Yakub successfully owned and operated multiple natural health businesses. She added, “I love being my own boss, am very visionary, and enjoy taking the necessary steps to grow a business.
Mrs Yakub, who was born in Fiji, said that after seeing some marketing materials from Raine & Horne she reached out and was pleasantly surprised with the prompt response from Mr Grove.
“I was then very impressed with Raine & Horne’s processes and systems. It’s an ecosystem of technology firsts such as social media marketing platform Amplify and online proposal platform DigiKitPlus.
“With ProcessPlus, their productivity work hub, Raine & Horne offers all the tools you need to operate a real estate office in one place. They also have a fantastic support network in place.
Real estate is a natural fit
The newly appointed principal of Raine & Horne Landsdale, who has gained valuable experience working with a prominent property group as well as an independent office since 2018, expressed that owning a real estate office is an ideal match for their skills and aspirations.
“Even when I was running my natural health business, people asked me about the real estate market as they knew I followed it very closely,” Mrs Yakub stated.
"We bought a family home in Landsdale about 7 years ago, and a couple of years later, I switched to real estate," said the new principal of Raine & Horne Landsdale.
"Landsdale is a suburb with a great family feel, and when you take the dog for a walk, someone always says hello. It's family-friendly and a great place to open an office.”
Family-friendly Landsdale offers excellent potential for capital growth
Apart from being family-friendly, housing prices in Landsdale grew by a tick over 6% over the last 12 months, which puts it at odds with many real estate markets around Australia.
“Landsdale’s popularity is linked to its location. Property owners are just 15 minutes by car to the Swan Valley and the wineries, 15 minutes to the coast or the airport and many major shopping centres in Perth.
“There is a lot of development going on in this area with new schools and high schools popping up to support the families moving here, and I’m confident that quality properties will continue to enjoy decent and consistent growth.
Looking ahead, Mrs Yakub’s goal is to increase her business's exposure and win more appraisals and listings, recruit more salespeople to Raine & Horne Landsdale and expand the rent roll.
